Automotive Sealing Systems Tooling
The Toolroom Inc. has more than 40 years of experience in designing and building molds, including rubber injection molds, for the automotive sealing systems industry. We also have experience with primary (door channel) seals, glass run seals, mucket seals, butt splice seals, endcap seals, glass encapsulation seals, and more.
As leaders in rubber injection molds and sealing mold programs, The Toolroom Inc. works with top tier suppliers for major automotive companies including, but not limited to, Ford, GM, Audi, BMW, Nissan, and Tesla. We pride ourselves on our superior customer service and on our ability to travel around the world for new launches, tuning, and repairs. We also offer competitive pricing by giving our clients the option to have their rubber injection and other molds built in-house or offshore. With the offshore option, The Toolroom Inc. works closely with offshore manufacturers to ensure client requirements are met.
Automotive Tool Molds
In addition to injection and sealing creation, The Toolroom manufactures world-class tool molds as well as parts for the automotive industry. Our rapid prototyping process is comprehensive in scope, providing you with as much or as little assistance in the process. Molds can made from be plastic, metal, rubber, or glass. From these molds we can make parts, small and large for a variety of components including hood seals, outer belt molds, glass run molds, below belt bracket molds, wheelhouse lower seal molds, end cap molds, fuel pump flange molds, and inner belt molds. Just like with any project, no project is too big or too small for The Toolroom. Whatever your need is for automotive tooling, The Toolroom is here to help you and walk you through each step of production, or help you with only the production steps you need, to create your custom automotive part mold.

Plastic & Rubber Parts
Ideal for applications that require high resistance to intense heat/steam and weathering, EPDM rubber or ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber is really a lengthy name for a synthetic rubber that can be found in automotive rubber seals, roofing, and even to create specialty surfaces for pool decks as well as playgrounds. Thermoplastic vulcanizates or TPVs are a subset of thermoplastic elastomers that arise out of a process called “dynamic vulcanization” or cross-linking. This takes places during melt-mixing with a thermoplastic material at extreme temperatures. Think of TPVs roughly as a having a rubber + plastic makeup while EPDM is focuses more on rubber. The Toolroom owns several different injection presses that can be used for the sampling and production runs of automotive sealing molds.
